Short background:
Lothar Stonescar is a man from the northern tip of the Duchy. Life for the small population there has never been easy, but it is a simple life without the complication of busy cities more popular in the warmer south. Lothar was a simple farmer and hunter for his small family, gathering what little resources he could find to sustain his kin - of course, such simple and noble pursuits would not remain for long when raiders managed to kill most of his family while he was out on a hunting trip. Lost and broken, Lothar decided to join the suicide ships heading for a new unconquered land - perhaps there he could find meaning once more.
