Additional info: At best, I'll become an obsessive member of the community and be at all the events. At worst, I make a little hamlet village somewhere obscure and forget to log in again once it's done. Ideally, I'll be somewhere between the two.

Full name: Alcest Notelyle
Short background: Subject, of course, to the lore of the server, but traditionally I have played Alcest as sort of an odd-ball hermity son of an ousted nobility family- his parents' generation dishonoured either from scandal, politics, or possibly assassination. I'm completely happy to adjust the backstory to whatever is consistent/fun.  As such, he's well educated and well spoken, but cynical, distrustful and lacking of the actual nuances of a noble born and bred. Indeed, the downfall of his house has forced him to take up a skillcraft, that of choice being labour of the hands- specifically woodworking.
